Job Description:
As a Driver Helper at LBC Logistics, you’ll play an essential role in supporting our drivers during the delivery of parcels and packages. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in loading and unloading goods, ensuring that the deliveries reach their destinations on time and in good condition. You’ll also support drivers in navigating the routes and managing schedules, ensuring smooth operations throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading & Unloading: Assist the driver in loading and unloading parcels, packages, and goods from the delivery vehicle. This includes ensuring that packages are handled safely and securely.
- Delivery Assistance: Help the driver navigate routes and deliver packages efficiently. Assist in organizing and arranging goods inside the vehicle to optimize space and ensure safe transport.
- Customer Service: Ensure that all deliveries are completed on time and meet customer expectations. If needed, assist in delivering packages to customers directly.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Help maintain cleanliness and organization inside the vehicle and assist with minor maintenance tasks such as checking the vehicle’s condition before and after the trip.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the driver and logistics team to ensure smooth operations, including handling any last-minute changes to delivery routes or schedules.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Physical Fitness: The role involves heavy lifting and physical work, so applicants should be physically fit and capable of handling packages of varying weights.
- Skills & Experience:
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive and can-do attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or as a driver helper is a plus, but not mandatory.
