Position Overview: Driver Helper
As a Driver Helper, you will play a crucial role in the delivery process. You will work alongside a driver to ensure timely and safe delivery of parcels to homes and businesses. Your tasks will primarily involve assisting with loading and unloading items, ensuring parcels are in good condition, and helping the driver navigate to various destinations. The position is ideal for individuals who are physically fit, enjoy teamwork, and thrive in a hands-on role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with Deliveries: Help the driver load and unload parcels from the delivery truck, ensuring items are properly organized and secured for transport.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service when delivering packages, ensuring that deliveries are made efficiently and professionally.
- Route Optimization: Assist in organizing the daily delivery route, ensuring deliveries are completed in a timely manner.
- Package Handling: Properly handle packages, especially fragile or heavy items, to avoid any damage.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle. Ensure that the vehicle meets all safety standards and is ready for the day’s deliveries.
- Problem-Solving: Address any issues that may arise during deliveries, such as missing or incorrect addresses, and work with the driver to find solutions quickly.
Job Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: At least a high school graduate.
- Physical Fitness: Must be able to lift heavy packages (up to 20-30 kg) and be on your feet for extended periods.
- Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate well in both Filipino and English.
- Work Attitude: Positive and hardworking with a good sense of responsibility.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively with the driver and other team members.
- Flexible: Willing to work in various locations, including urban and rural areas. Flexibility in working hours is a must, as deliveries may sometimes extend into evenings or weekends.
- Experience: While experience in a similar role is beneficial, it is not required. Flash Express is willing to train the right candidate!
